Morning Departure & The Museum

Journey to West Kilimanjaro

Your cultural day begins with an 08:00 AM pick-up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha (timing is flexible). Enjoy a comfortable drive to West Kilimanjaro, keeping an eye out for elephants and giraffes living in the hills.

When you arrive, you are warmly welcomed into the village. The tour starts with a guided walk through the Maasai Museum, showing traditional tools, weapons, and beautiful beadwork jewelry.

Midday Bush Medicine & Traditional Lunch

Walk deeper into the village to learn how the Maasai live close to the land. Local experts will show traditional hunting skills and explain how natural plant medicines are gathered from the bush.

After this, you will sit down for a freshly prepared, traditional lunch, offering a real taste of Maasai hospitality.

Afternoon Village Life & Return

The Village & Departure

Spend the afternoon walking through the village homes, getting a personal look at daily life, family traditions, and the community's way of living.

After about 9 hours of total trip time, you will start your scenic drive back, arriving at your hotel with lasting memories and a closer connection to the people of Tanzania.
