Morning Departure & Scenic Hike

Journey to Materuni Village

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi at 08:00 AM for a 45-minute scenic drive to the Materuni village office. Following registration, you will embark on a moderately challenging 40-minute hike through valleys, tropical rainforests, and local farms, learning about local agriculture and wildlife along the way.

Midday Materuni Waterfall

The 70-Meter Cascade

Upon arriving at the towering Materuni Waterfall, you will have time to admire its dramatic 70-meter drop. Be sure to pack your swimming gear, as you can take a refreshing dip in the cool, clear waters at the base of the falls to relax after your hike.

Afternoon Coffee Experience & Lunch

Bean to Cup & Local Feast

Transition from the waterfall to a genuine Chagga coffee tour. Learn the complete coffee production cycle—from cultivation and harvesting to roasting and brewing. You will roast your own freshly brewed coffee before sitting down to a hearty, traditional meal featuring local dishes and seasonal fruits. Return to Moshi in the late afternoon.
