Day 01 Rift Valley & Maasai Culture · Lunch & Dinner

Into the Great Rift Valley

Your journey begins with a morning departure from Arusha or Moshi. Travel comfortably through sweeping plains and traditional villages, descending into the dramatic topography of the Rift Valley. Upon arriving at Lake Natron, enjoy lunch before venturing to the shoreline. Your expert guide will detail the region's fascinating geology and flamingo conservation efforts.

As evening approaches, the fading light creates phenomenal photography opportunities against the silhouette of Ol Doinyo Lengai. Conclude the day with a visit to a traditional Maasai Boma. Here, you are warmly welcomed to learn about local customs, livestock practices, and heritage through song and dance, directly supporting this iconic community.

Day 02 Waterfall Trekking · Breakfast & Lunch

The Ngare Sero Gorge & Return

Following a hearty breakfast, embark on a guided trek to the spectacular Ngare Sero Waterfalls. The trail weaves through a narrow, striking volcanic gorge where towering rock walls and lush tropical vegetation create a startling contrast to the arid valley floor.

Arrive at the cascading falls to cool off in the misty air and, season permitting, swim in the pristine natural pools. After soaking in this serene environment, return to your lodge for lunch before beginning the scenic ascent out of the valley, arriving back in Arusha or Moshi in the late afternoon.
